CITY OF TEMPE OFFERS FREE ACTIVITIES AND DEMOSThe City of Tempe offers thousands of opportunities to stay active and connected through exceptional programs, parks, facilities, and special events. Visit their information table with free, fun activities for kids and fitness demos here in store on Monday, March 14th from 11am to 5:15pm and Wednesday, March 16th from 10am to 5:15pm in the front lobby and by the Exit doors. “ERIC” VISITS IKEA TEMPEBe sure to visit the City of Tempe’s Educational Recycling Information Center (ERIC) here at the store on Tuesday, March 15th from 10am to 2pm in the parking lot. ERIC is an interactive learning mobile that promotes the three R’s of Recycling – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. While aboard of ERIC, you will discover the many benefits of recycling and how to reduce and properly dispose of waste to help the environment.
ST. PATTY’S DAY CRAFTKIDS: Join us in the Restaurant on Thursday, March 17th from 2pm to 3pm as we’ll be decorating cookies in honor of St. Patty’s Day.
SEA LIFE ARIZONA ON-SITE WITH FREE "CLAWS" EXHIBITSEA LIFE Arizona Aquarium will be on-site here on Friday, March 18th from 11am to 3pm and they're bringing a few of their clawed friends with them! Visitors will have the chance to ask the SEA LIFE curator – that’s the head fish guy at the aquarium – questions about the crabs, what’s its like to work at an aquarium and more. Plus, SEA LIFE will have coupons to visit the aquarium available for all IKEA shoppers that stop by their informational table in the lobby
LEARN HOW TO BALLOON TWISTBe sure to visit “BoBo the Clown” on Friday, March 18th from 5pm to 6pm in the Restaurant as he’ll teach children how to make balloon art on their own for free.
FREE BALLOON ART FOR KIDSJoin us this month for free balloon art for kids on Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th from 10am to 2pm in Restaurant.
*And if you shop while your 37-inch potty-trained child plays at Småland, they have fun crafts and activities for them too.
