Buy the Arizona Republic (possibly other papers too? Tucson's paper had it last time) for 75¢ and get a $10 off $20 coupon to Kohls. Not as great as the $10 off $10 a few weeks ago, but if you are shopping at Kohls before October 30th when it expires, it might be worth it.

Print a coupon for a FREE Orange ‘n Creme Swirl Fruitista Freeze from Taco Bell. No purchase necessary.

Safeway.com-my order came! ($15 off $50) Plus 360 swagbucks

Since we were out of town last week and groceries were {just about} nonexistent, I got really excited about this promo-

  • fresh fruit/vegetables (bananas, avocados, an onion, mushrooms)
  • cereal (baby cereal and Cookie Crisp)
  • sweets (milk chocolate chips, ice cream cones)

(AZ) Safeway-FREE delivery PLUS $15 off $50 order!

For 3 days only, new customers can get FREE delivery PLUS $15 off $50 order at Safeway.com with code TRYNOW! I saw this in the Sunday Safeway ad and it expires October 19th (Tuesday!)

Jill and I did a review and got $7 off a $50 order a while back, so $15 off is a great deal if you need anything form Safeway...From my experience, it takes a day or 2 before your groceries are delivered, so you may need to plan ahead.

Also, you should be able to use digital coupons like Cellfire and Shortcuts.com if they are correctly linked to your card.

(You are not able to use manufacturer's coupons)

***Edited To Add-if you go through Swagbucks Trial Pay in their Special Offers, you can get 360 Swagbucks
(450 swagbucks is a $5 amazon gift card)***

Free kindle ebook

I don't know how long this deal will last but Kindle is offering Trent Hamm's book, "The Simple Dollar" for free right now. Click here. If you don't own a kindle, they have several links to download their free apps for pc, iphone, android, blackberry etc on the bottom right corner of the page. I have the free Kindle app on my android phone and I already downloaded this book. I am enjoying it greatly.

Cake Pops, anyone? A little deal on cake mix/frosting at Kroger

Fry's has Betty Crocker cake mixes and frosting for $1.29-$1.69...not really on sale, However...

*You can load a cellfire coupon for $0.50 off both a cake mix AND frosting
*You can load a shortcuts coupon for $0.50 off both a cake mix AND frosting
*You can print 2 coupons for $0.50 off both a cake mix AND frosting (which should double to $1)

*There is also a catalina at Fry's which says, "Buy  Betty Crocker Ready to Spread Frosting Tubs {Between 10/4 and 10/31} and Save"

  • Buy (2) Get $1 coupon off your next order
  • Buy (3) Get $2 coupon off your next order
  • Buy (4) Get $3 coupon off your next order
Just an idea if you need/want cake mix and frosting. Maybe they will go on sale in weeks to come while the catalina coupon is printing.

I decided to try my hand at cake pops...it was fun, and my kids were very interested in this crazy process of baking a cake, crumbling it up, forming it into balls, and melting chocolate all over. Here is how it went down, from an amateur:

And the famous blogger bakerella now has a book:
Cake Pops: Tips, Tricks, and Recipes for More Than 40 Irresistible Mini Treats
