Arizona food prices rise 5%-article in today's Arizona Republic

I think we still need to be clippin coupons:

"The Arizona Farm Bureau confirmed Wednesday what many of the state's consumers already know: Food prices are going up. The agency reported that higher fuel and commodity prices helped push the price of a basket of 16 food staples up 5 percent in Arizona during the first three months of the year."

The good news (I guess) "Despite the increase, Arizonans are still paying less for groceries than in many other parts of the country. The American Farm Bureau Federation reported the average national price for the same 16 items is $1.22 more than Arizona."
