What is Mypoints?

*MyPoints is a reward network, just like when you earn miles on an airline or cash-back on a credit card. The difference is that MyPoints is flexible. You don't have to stick with one store to earn Points, and you don't have to take your rewards in just one form. We have many partners that our members can shop with and redeem from. As a member, you can earn reward Points for shopping at hundreds of brand-name merchant sites, responding to email offers, taking surveys, booking travel and playing online games. Then you can redeem Points for gift cards and certificates from the same wide range of stores, restaurants, airlines and hotels.*

-Mypoints sends out emails, I would say 5+ a week, but it varies. You get points for reading the emails, just reading them-this is where I have gotten most of my points. Of course, they encourage you to sign up for things-
-You can get points for shopping online through their stores

-Printing and redeeming coupons

There is no charge-it is a slow and steady rewards system, especially if you are like me and aren't going to sign up for anything that costs money, but it seems to be worth it. Jill recently redeemed a $50 Kohls gift card with her points!

It is fun and no strings attached. I use a different email so that my regular email doesn't get too crowded, but that's just me. Cancel at anytime.

Summer Clearance

Walgreens has all Summer stuff (pool toys, garden stuff) on clearance 50% off. They also have flip flops and sandals 75% off and random summer clothes 75% off.

CVS Summer clearance seems to be 40% off

Wal-mart has kids swimsuits on clearance for $3

*Individual stores may vary, but this seems to be the general trend-the more pumpkins and candy corns you see, the deeper the clearance will get, especially at the drug stores as they don't have room for the old stuff. I hope CVS goes to 90% :)

Huggies wipes at Walgreens

Wipes are not actually on sale at Walgreens this week, but there is a coupon in a little Orange booklet that you can get at most Walgreens stores that takes $2.00 (one side says $1, but it is actually $2) off any Huggies Wipes at least 64 count-if you have a manufacturers coupon for $0.50 from a recent paper or the mail, then you can use the coupons together. It takes $2 off and says limit one, so you may only be able to buy one per transaction.

*Prices for the tubs range from $2.79-$3.29-worth a looksy if you are around a Walgreens.

Do you live in AZ and like Dr. Pepper?

Basha's has Coke products on sale $2.99 for a 24-pack. The Dr. Pepper ones have a $1.50 off coupon in them. So, here is what you do: buy one for $2.99 (a screaming deal even without a coupon), remove the cans, cut out the coupon and go back. Every one you buy thereafter will be $1.29. That is about 6 cents a can!

Loyalty T-shirts 50% off at Harkins

Loyalty T-shirts are only $10 at Harkins right now while supplies last. Every time you wear your T-shirt to a Harkin's movie you get a free medium popcorn (valued at $4.75) until the end of the year.

There were some real good Reach coupons in the 8/2 paper but they vary by region. In the AZ Republic I received a $5/3 a $3/2 and a $1/1 all have worked great with this deal making them freebies or money-makers.
